OpenLoRA Terms of Service
DRAFT FOR REVIEW — NOT YET EFFECTIVE. Draft version: 2026-10-29-v1. Effective date: [TO CONFIRM: publication and effective date].
1. The service provider and these terms
OpenLoRA at https://openlora.org is operated by [TO CONFIRM: legal name of the individual or entity, jurisdiction of establishment, public contact address and required registration details] ("OpenLoRA", "we", "us"). Contact: mail@openlora.org.
These terms govern access to our image and prompt gallery, accounts, requested LoRA training, image generation and related credit services. Our Content & Copyright Policy and Payments & Refunds Policy form part of these terms. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain our information practices; acknowledging them is not consent to every form of processing.
We ask you to accept these terms before creating an account or using features that require acceptance. Reading a legal notice or contacting us does not itself constitute agreement to purchase a service. Keep a copy of the terms and the order details applicable when you purchase.
2. Age, legal capacity and regional availability
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement under the law applicable to you. The service is not offered to anyone under 18, even with parental permission. You must make a truthful age confirmation before entering the service and again when registering as requested. An age declaration is not a verified identity document.
The service is not offered to users accessing it from IP addresses identified as located in mainland China. This restriction does not, by itself, include Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan. Availability elsewhere remains subject to local law. Do not evade age or regional restrictions or use the service where its use is unlawful. If you believe a location decision is incorrect, contact us.
The service permits general creative work and non-explicit adult content, subject to our Content & Copyright Policy. An 18+ label does not permit prohibited sexual material or remove other legal obligations.
3. Accounts and security
The current sign-in option uses Google. You authorize the identity information described in our Privacy Policy to be used to establish and maintain your account. You must control the Google account you use, keep it secure, provide accurate information and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. This does not make you liable for losses caused by our breach of law or our failure to provide required security. Do not sell, impersonate another person through, or misuse an account. Access may be limited during beta testing or for security and legal reasons disclosed to you.
4. Requests, availability and credits
The service displays available features and the applicable credit cost before a paid request. Your confirmation authorizes that particular request at the displayed cost. Network delays, model queues and safety reviews may affect completion. Repeating a request may create another paid job; use the original job's status and recovery controls where available.
Credits may be reserved while a job is processed. Successful delivery settles the applicable charge; confirmed failures release the reserved credits under the Payments & Refunds Policy. An uncertain or still-running job is not automatically a confirmed failure. We will not intentionally charge twice for the same accepted job.
We may improve or change the service with appropriate notice. Changes do not remove mandatory rights concerning existing purchases. If a change materially impairs a paid service or we discontinue it, we will provide the remedies required by applicable law, including refunds where due.
5. Your materials and requested processing
You retain the rights you have in prompts, photographs and other materials you submit. To provide the features you request, you give us a non-exclusive license to receive, store, reproduce, technically adapt and transmit those materials, create the requested LoRA or output, deliver results to you, and perform proportionate security and legal compliance work. Authorized service providers may perform these activities on our behalf under appropriate arrangements.
This license is limited to those purposes and the retention described in our Privacy Policy. It does not give us ownership of your materials, a general advertising endorsement, permission to publish your private uploads, or permission to train an unrelated general-purpose model. Any materially different reuse requires an appropriate legal basis and separate notice or consent where required.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for your instructions, including permissions concerning identifiable people, copyrighted works, brands and confidential material. Public availability alone is not permission. Do not upload another person's images for likeness training without their informed authorization and any other legally required basis. We may request reasonable evidence of permission or decline a request where rights or safety are uncertain.
6. Outputs, gallery materials and AI limitations
As between you and OpenLoRA, we do not claim ownership of your generated output or custom LoRA merely because you used the service. This does not create intellectual property rights where the law does not recognize them, promise exclusivity, or override the licenses of underlying models or third-party materials. Applicable model restrictions must be disclosed before the relevant use; they cannot be invented after purchase.
AI results can be inaccurate, biased, similar to other results or unsuitable for your intended purpose. Review them before publication or commercial use, including privacy, likeness, trademark, copyright and AI disclosure requirements. Do not represent generated depictions as genuine events or authentic statements by a person when doing so would mislead or harm others.
Gallery images and prompts may have separate rights holders. Access, copying a prompt, or paying for credits does not transfer ownership of gallery materials or guarantee commercial clearance. Follow any source-specific license or attribution shown. Our website design, branding and software remain protected by their applicable rights.
7. Prohibited use and enforcement
Follow the Content & Copyright Policy. Do not submit unlawful or infringing material, exploit or sexualize minors, create non-consensual intimate imagery, generate explicit pornography, commit fraud, or interfere with security. Do not bypass safety systems, collect other users' data without authorization or use access beyond the permissions provided.
We may refuse a job, restrict access or remove material where reasonably necessary to address a breach, a credible safety risk or a legal obligation. Where permitted and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to challenge a decision at mail@openlora.org. Urgent protective action may precede notice. A report is assessed on its substance; account termination does not automatically cancel statutory refund rights or justify confiscating unused paid credits.
8. Ending use and retaining records
You may stop using the service and request account closure at mail@openlora.org. We will explain the effects on active jobs, access to stored materials and remaining credits. Export needed materials before closure where possible. Deletion and legally required retention are governed by the Privacy Policy; public blockchain entries cannot be erased by us.
We may end an account for material breaches or lawful discontinuation, subject to required notice, proportionate action and consumer remedies. Clauses reasonably needed for completed transactions, legal claims and intellectual property protection continue after termination.
9. Responsibility and consumer protections
We will provide the service with the care, skill and conformity required by applicable law. We do not promise that AI will produce a particular artistic result or that service interruptions will never occur. These statements do not exclude mandatory warranties, data protection duties, digital service remedies or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Neither party is responsible for losses that applicable law does not attribute to that party. No provision excludes liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, death or personal injury caused by negligence where protected by law, or any other non-excludable liability. There is no blanket requirement that consumers indemnify us for all third-party claims.
10. Changes, disputes and contact
We will publish updated terms with a version and effective date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Where a new acceptance is required, we will request it before the affected future use. New terms do not retroactively rewrite completed orders or authorize new personal-data uses through silence.
Governing law and operator-specific dispute details: [TO CONFIRM: complete after identifying the operator and assessing the target markets]. Regardless of that selection, consumers retain mandatory protections of their place of habitual residence and any right to bring a claim in a competent local court. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive collective remedies available by law.
Contact mail@openlora.org for service issues, disputes or an accessible copy of these terms. If a term cannot lawfully be enforced, the remaining terms apply to the extent lawful. A translation cannot remove rights granted by mandatory law.
