OpenLoRA Payments and Refunds Policy

DRAFT FOR REVIEW — NOT YET EFFECTIVE. Draft version: 2026-10-29-v1. Effective date: [TO CONFIRM: publication and effective date].

This policy covers credit purchases and paid training/generation requests. The seller is [TO CONFIRM: operator's legal name, establishment, public address, required registration and tax details]. Contact: mail@openlora.org. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over any conflicting provision.

1. Prices and your order

Before you purchase or submit a paid task, review the displayed amount, credits, service cost, supported network/token, applicable fees or taxes, and important restrictions. Prices for future purchases may change; a later change does not reprice a confirmed order. No automatic subscription renewal is authorized by buying a credit pack.

Credits are an internal measure for using the specified services. They are not a bank deposit, investment or a promise of returns. They do not by themselves grant a right to cash out, but this does not restrict a refund or other remedy required by law. [TO CONFIRM: publish the agreed credit-expiry, transfer and voluntary-unused-credit refund rules; do not introduce retrospective expiry for existing purchases.]

2. Supported crypto payments

The current payment direction is USDT on Ethereum mainnet. Use only the token, network, exact deposit address, amount and timing shown for your particular order. A similarly named token or another network may not be recoverable. The order display controls the payment instructions; an old email, screenshot or another user's address is not a valid substitute.

Network gas and any external wallet/exchange fees are separate unless expressly included. Verify everything before sending. OpenLoRA will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Do not send funds to an address supplied through an unsolicited message.

A wallet showing a successful transfer does not necessarily mean the order has reached the finality required for spendable credits. We distinguish pending confirmation from available balance. Pending credits cannot be spent; confirmed qualifying payments are credited under the order's stated rules. Network or infrastructure errors can delay reconciliation. Contact support with the order ID, public transaction hash, network and amount; do not repeat the payment merely because confirmation is slow.

Do not treat public blockchain immutability as a waiver of legal remedies. We cannot reverse a mined transaction, but a legally due refund can be made through a separate verified payment.

3. Task reservations, success and failure

Submitting a paid job may reserve the displayed credit cost. Successful validated delivery settles the charge. Confirmed failed or rejected jobs release their reservation through the billing flow; such a release is a credit-accounting action, not an on-chain refund.

If a job's outcome is uncertain, we reconcile the original request before deciding whether to settle or release it. Avoid submitting a second job to check the first. Report suspected duplicate charges or missing delivery to mail@openlora.org with the job reference. We will correct an established error and provide the remedies required for non-conforming digital content or services.

Differences in artistic preference alone do not necessarily make a delivered service defective. This does not exclude remedies for a service that is not supplied as described or does not meet mandatory legal standards.

4. Refund and cancellation requests

Email mail@openlora.org with your account email, order or job ID, public transaction reference where relevant, the service/purchase date and the reason for the request. You do not have to use a particular phrase to exercise a legal right. We may request proportionate information to authenticate a request and protect against sending funds to an attacker.

Where a refund is due, we explain the amount, currency/token, method, timing and any lawful fee treatment before completing it. We ordinarily use the original payment method where feasible, or another method you expressly agree to and that applicable law permits. Do not assume that a deposit address or exchange sender address is a safe refund destination. An external wallet/exchange's charges or a token's market value can change; we will not use this fact to deny a mandatory refund.

Wrong-network, wrong-token, duplicate, late or unmatched payments require individual investigation. We cannot guarantee technical recovery, but we will assess the facts and applicable legal obligations rather than declare every such payment forfeited. Account suspension also does not automatically eliminate rights concerning unused purchased credits.

[TO CONFIRM: operational refund authority, secure destination verification, handling time, exchange-rate rules and the voluntary policy for unused credits. No automatic refund feature is claimed.]

5. EEA/UK and other consumer withdrawal rights

Where distance-selling law applies, consumers may have a cancellation/withdrawal period, commonly 14 days, and separate remedies for defective or non-conforming digital services. The classification of a credit purchase, training task and delivered image must be assessed separately; buying credits alone does not automatically waive withdrawal for all future tasks.

If you request a service to start during a statutory withdrawal period, any legally required express request, information and acknowledgment must be obtained separately before performance. For digital content supplied immediately, loss of withdrawal rights may depend on prior express consent, acknowledgment and confirmation on a durable medium. Services can have different rules, including proportionate charges or loss of withdrawal only after full performance and the required conditions. Agreement to general terms is not enough by itself.

We will not rely on an exemption whose conditions were not satisfied. Statutory remedies remain available after performance where the law provides them. [TO CONFIRM: applicable local withdrawal notices, model form, confirmation email/other durable copy and checkout choices before publishing or claiming any waiver.]

6. Complaints and records

We keep the transaction evidence necessary for accounting, security, disputes and legal obligations as described in the Privacy Policy. Support complaints go to mail@openlora.org. You retain any right to complain to a relevant consumer authority or pursue a competent court or other legally available dispute process.
